Osaka Aquarium

Yesterday I went to an aquarium. You might be wondering why we went to an aquarium in Japan instead of an aquarium in Malaysia, well, this aquarium is one of the few aquariums in the world with the biggest fish in the world which is the Whale Shark. 

            We started of by seeing other fish like Dory and other weird fishes.

After that we saw otters! They were super cute.

After visiting the otters we saw penguins and seals. There were a few penguins in the water and a few on ice.

There were around 9-10 seals and they were huge.

Soon after we saw the whale sharks! There were 2 whale sharks there. The whale shark’s tank was three floors high and filled with other amazing sea creatures like the Black Tip Reef Shark, the Hammer Head Shark, Sting Rays and more.  

Moreover, I saw dolphins in the next tank. There were at least 4 of them swimming in and out and jumping out of the water. 

             We next saw a fish that looked like a stick because of its sharp tip along with other fishes like a clownfish a sea cucumber, and worms. Soon after my dad called me, I ran towards him and saw the Japanese Spider Crab.

It was massive and my dad wanted to make it into curry and eat it. I got bored of the crab and ran towards the next animal and saw many  jellyfish. There were many rare jellyfishes like a jellyfish with white spots, a jellyfish with long red tentacles, a transparent jellyfish and more. Towards the end I saw a starfish with lots of tentacles.

               I really enjoyed myself that day and my favourite animal was the Whale shark. I hope I can visit more aquariums to visit these creatures. 

Disneyland

              I went to Disneyland! It was super fun. I didn’t post for 2 days was because I was tired and sleepy. I also knew that today I would have lots of time to write because I am taking a 2 hour long Bullet Train to Osaka.

              On the first day, we were able to play and visit only 8-9 rides because it was packed with people.

Firstly, we went for a ride which was from the movie Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. We booked a few rides and went on those as well. I found a few rides boring and a few rides fun.

              My favourite ride was the ride where my dad was the only one that got wet. It was a roller coaster where we will enter a really cute world with animals and there will be times where we will fall and my dad will get wet.

              My second favourite one was called A Small World. It is a place divided into rooms and in each room will have different countries or themes in them. First, I saw Cinderella. She was holding the prince’s hand and the were getting married (the married part was my imagination). We also saw Moana with her pet pig on her boat. Next, we saw Rapunzel. She was in a tower with her long hair hanging down from the tower. Soon after, we saw Ariel, Lilo and Stitch. In that room, we also saw Nemo, Dory and Nemo’s father. We next saw Simba and his friend the ox ( I forgot the ox’s name).

              Before heading home, we went to gift shops to buy souvenirs. I got a Donald  Duck soft toy and a Disneyland mechanical pencil. After that we headed home, it was around 7: 45p.m by then.

             The next day, I went to another Disneyland which was called Disney Sea. It is the only Disney Sea in the world. It is called Disney Sea because it is next to the sea (which makes it even more windier). We first went on a ride where we will watch a movie about Nemo.  

               We also went on other rides and two of them were the coolest. The first one is called The House Of Terror. We will listen to a boring talk about a man going missing after he found an ancient statue. We entered an elevator and we all wore seat belts. Soon after, we saw the statue appear with its eyes glowing in green light. It stared at us and laughed like a maniac. We soon fell down and then we went up. Then down again and then up super fast. When we were up, there was a window that we could see the theme park. It was scary and I rate it a 10/10. Next, we went to a ride called Indiana Jones The Crystal Skull. We got into a car and drove inside a land with green ponds, fake spiders and fake cop webs. I was scared when it was dark and I held my dad’s hand almost the entire ride. 

                After these two days I feel happy that I got the opportunity to go to a place so wonderful. 

Japan Day 2

     Today was my second day in Japan. I started the day by visiting a temple called the Sensoji Temple. It is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa ( which is a place in Tokyo). Based on a legend, long ago two brothers were fishing and fished a statue of the goddess of mercy, Kannon. They tried to return the statue several times but the statue always returned to them. So, they built a temple near the river the brothers fished for the statue. 

     After visiting several more places, we went for lunch. Today was my second time eating Japanese food and to be honest, yesterday's food was better.

After lunch, we went to several more temples. I complained along the way because we had to walk for a very long time. 

we wanted to leave when my mom decided to cheer me and my sister up my letting us buy sanrio stuff! My mom brought us to a shop called Sanrio World Ginza. We went shopping and I bought 2 things. I got a cinnamoroll doll and mini stuff for the doll. It was really expensive and most of the things they sell are also sold in Malaysia. 

      At the end of the day we went for dinner, bought ice cream and headed home. I really enjoyed myself today and I am sure  I will enjoy myself more tomorrow because tomorrow is DISNEYLAND! I felt very happy because I have this experience of winter and Japan's tradition. Hope you can read tomorrow's story. 

Japan Day 1

     Today was my first day in Japan and it was super cold. I started off the day by waking up at 7 am  I slept for 4 and a half hours, from 2 am to 7 am. Japan is 1 hour ahead from Malaysia.

      It was 3 degrees Celcius today and I was freezing cold. I wore thermals, and my normal shirt on top. Next, I wore a jacket on top and then a thicker jacket on top. I wore gloves and a winter hat. At 8am, we left to our first destination.

    Our first stop was Arakura Sengen Shrine.  Next we went to the Lake Yamanakako, and Lake Kawaguchi. After having lunch, we went to the Oishi Park. We went to the Oshino Hakkai and our last stop was the Kachi Kachi Ropeway.

    My favourite was the Arakura Sengen Shrine. This place has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji.

         Mount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan, like Mount Kinabalu is the tallest mountain in Malaysia. I felt snow for the first time and I froze my hand several times. 

                  Mount Fuji erupted around 1707 which was around 317 years ago. 

    I had Japanese food for lunch and it was good. I had fried chicken with rice. The side dishes looked really interesting. There was a tofu but it was cold. They also gave some veggies but I didn't eat them.
